Turar S.A. is a Travel Agency, one of the most important and oldest in Argentina.

It is part of the Ferrucci Enterprise Group (F.E.G.) and began its activities in 1947, but entered the tourism field in 1958.

Within the Ferrucci Enterprise Group there are a number of activities that the company is engaged in, that concern itself with industrial, commercial and service activities. Within the tourism activity, the group comprises three companies: Ferrucci S.A. Tourist Finance Company; Regente Palace Hotel and Turar S.A. Travel Agency.

Ferrucci S.A. Tourist Finance Company has been the first and for many years, the most important credit agency involved exclusively for foreign travel. They were the first to launched this type of service in 1958, and during more than three decades it has financed 20 of the most important airlines companies in the world, and the major wholesale tourist agencies concerned with foreign travel.

The Regente Palace Hotel was inaugurated in 1983. This hotel is located at Suipacha 964 within the center of the tourist activity in the city of Buenos Aires. It is a four star hotel with 150 rooms and four salons for conferences. It is at the highest international level, has the latest technological improvements for the excellent confort of its guests.

The Ferrucci Enterprise Group possesses a total of 300 employees and 15 million dollars in Capital. In the tourist activity it is, without doubt, the most important tourist group within the national capital.

Turar S.A. is a travel agency that was constituted in 1976. From then until now it has operated without interruption dealing with hundreds of thousands of passengers in both, the Outgoing Department (wholesale and retail), and the Incoming Department (general and special). The Outgoing Department is one of the major sellers to places such as Europe, North America, the Caribbean and Brazil. The Incoming Department is one of the principle tour operators that engages in individual tours and group tours, involving groups from all over America, Europe and Australia.

The total annual movement of Turar S.A. can be estimated at 40,000 passengers, half incoming and half outgoing. The annual sales total is more than 20 million dolars.

Refering the incoming passengers exclusively, Turar S.A. is the principle operator for passengers coming from Chile, Paraguay and Spain. It is also one of the principal operators of passengers coming from the rest of Latin America, the United States, Italy and the rest of Europe.

In order to serve the passengers in Argentina, Turar S.A. possesses a number of advantages. It has ample offices at Bartolome Mitre 559, 4th. floor, in the center of the financial district in the city of Buenos Aires. It also possesses two subsidiary operations branches: one at Suipacha 964 ("Guide's Center"), and one at Marcelo T. de Alvear 960 ("Chauffeur's Center" in a Garage that can house 400 cars).

It has 70 employees, including travel personal, drivers and tour guides that can speak 7 different languages. It also possesses 12 vehicles in order to carry from 13 to 52 passengers each, on excursion tours or transfering tourists from one place to another. It further has been proven that this agency has operated with efficiency when engaged in tourist activity within this country and other countries bordering this one.
